Hi.

Welcome to Annie Rose Clothes, where I share a look into my personal style and hope to inspire others to express themselves through style.

Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away my friends and I'm really excited to reveal this year's tablescape. If you've been following me since the beginning you'll remember I did an affordable Easter tablescape and wanted to tackle the same thing for Thanksgiving! My goal this year was to keep it simple and casual. I wanted it to be more rustic (although I hate that word) and organic but also feel special. I was roaming through the grocery store and spotted all the gourds and pumpkins, an obvious choice, but decided to go against the grain with clementines. Although they are in the same color family, they are a little unexpected and less traditional. At $3.99 a bag, I decided they were going to be the center of my table.   Everything else slowly came together and although I did a little DIY spray painting of the leaves in the napkins, it all felt very natural together. We live in a  relatively new neighborhood so pine cones and  trees are few and far between. Thank you to the golf course down the street for your generous addition! The only thing I purchased for this season and table specifically is the buffalo check table runner. At just $15 I didn't feel to bad about it! You might remember these candle holders from my Easter table. They were my husband's grandmother's. A while back she asked the grandkids to go through her Christmas items and these candle holders are one of my favorite family possessions. Grandma Dorothy has since passed and I display them in my house year round as a reminder of her generous spirit and kind heart.   Our dining table and chairs is relatively new and I'm thrilled with them. I originally purchased a very dark wood table for the dining room and over the years my tastes have changed and I decided I wanted to replace it with a lighter wood one. This table is perfectly organic and brightens up the space a great deal. It's currently on sale if you're in the market!         !function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ?
