Hi.

Welcome to Annie Rose Clothes, where I share a look into my personal style and hope to inspire others to express themselves through style.

Look 7 is right smack dab in the middle of my comfort zone - GRAY! Can you blame me? I'm always willing to go for a monochromatic look and this one is so fun! This dress is literally so comfortable and under $60. It runs true to size and I've linked several of my other favorite gray knit dresses to give you some options! This is the outfit I wore to my husbands Christmas party and I'll just go ahead and say that I felt pretty good in it! Over the knee boots just have the "cool" factor you can't get with any other look! These boots sold out pretty quick during the Nordstrom Fall Sale but I linked a very similar pair that I tried on over the weekend and love just as much! This red clutch is getting plenty of wear this season as it's the perfect pop of red and the gorgeous velvet fabric glams up just about anything!   I feel like the last couple of days have been Christmas crunch time! I started secretly wrapping presents tonight after the kids went to bed and we will start our family celebrations tomorrow with my husband's Dad. It's nice not to cram all of the family parties into one weekend so I'm grateful we get to celebrate with his side a little bit early. It's especially hard for us because my family lives two hours away. This year we will spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Indiana with my side of the family and celebrate with John's Mom on the 26th. Every year things are a little different but I think next year will be the first year the boy's will wake up at their own house on Christmas. It's hard to break the traditions I've grown up with and start our own but we are excited to give the boys Christmas morning memories at our house next year. Does anyone else struggle with breaking 30 (or however many) years of holiday traditions now that you have your own family? I still call my parents house "home" and it's difficult for me to think about not waking up there in the future. Seems silly as an adult with a family but for some reason I've always had a hard time letting go of what I've known. Anyone else? Please tell me I'm not the only one! !function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? 'http' : 'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + '://' + 'widgets.rewardstyle.com' + '/js/boutique.js';d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__boutique === 'object') if(d.readyState === 'complete') {window.__boutique.init();}}(document, 'script', 'boutique-script'); JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser.
