Hi.

Welcome to Annie Rose Clothes, where I share a look into my personal style and hope to inspire others to express themselves through style.

I am a serious sucker for the high-waisted jean + crop top combo for two reasons. 1.) I birthed two babies so anything with the name "high-waisted" is a win in my book, and 2.) a cropped top (i'm talking a reasonable crop here, 20 inches or more is my rule of thumb) accentuates your natural waist. Tell me who doesn't want jeans that tuck everything in and a top that gives you a tiny little waist?!   Anyway, I tried this top on at a styling event last week and fell in love with it. The color is a nice, crisp white and the gathered waist and sleeves are the perfect details to give it that something extra. AND IT'S ON SALE! A total no-brainer!  I have a thing for white tops with denim - the combination is just so clean and classic. I'll pick a white top over color any day of the week and I have to force myself not to buy things in white. Otherwise, this blog would start to get prettttttttty boring! I hope everyone is enjoying the week. Our house has been a haven for boys (men) and beer for the last couple weeks because of the NCAA men's basketball tournament. My husband is a huge basketball enthusiast so this time of year is like Christmas for him. Especially since the MICHIGAN WOLVERINES (GO BLUE!) made it to the sweet sixteen! They play again tonight and we are all rooting for an advancement to the elite eight! Have a great Thursday, friends!
