Welcome to Annie Rose Clothes, where I share a look into my personal style and hope to inspire others to express themselves through style.

One of my favorite holidays of the year is Easter. There are many reasons, most of which are faith based (I won't get into that here because it will certainly turn me into an emotional mess) but also because Easter is my holiday to host. I absolutely love playing hostess and with 100% certainty I get that love from my mom. From the time I can remember she always loved to entertain. She always has enough food and drink to feed an army and spends countless hours perfecting every last detail. This year when I imagined our Easter table, I wanted it to feel very sweet and springy. I chose a color palette of blue and pink and wanted to try to incorporate as many things that I already had in the house as possible. I picked up this table runner and these adorable Kate Spade striped napkins at HomeGoods last week and knew they were the perfect fit. I already had the gold chargers from our wedding and I got the gold flatware for Christmas a couple years ago and can't wait to FINALLY put it to good use. It's so beautiful and I've been afraid to use it! I stopped at our local florist this morning and picked up a variety of pink tulips and baby's breath and used organic eggs for a more natural centerpiece. These beautiful candle holders were my husband's grandma's and I usually keep them on the entry table but I wanted to showcase these beauties for such a special occasion. I grabbed the pink vases and egg trees from the Target dollar spot - score!! I scoured HomeGoods to find the perfect patterned dinner plate and when all is said and done, I'm glad I didn't find anything I loved and went with my white Pottery Barn dinner plates. They are the perfect simple addition to a colorful table. I hope this post inspires your Easter table. There's still time to run out and grab a few of these inexpensive items. I've linked what I can for you below along with the top and jeans that I'm wearing in a few pictures. “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” – John 11:25-26 Happy Easter!
