Hi.

Welcome to Annie Rose Clothes, where I share a look into my personal style and hope to inspire others to express themselves through style.

Happy Thursday, friends! I am so excited to be partnering with Cloth + Cabin on the launch of their fall line and the promotion of their F all Pop Up on October 5th ! This adorable chambray dress is something I recently snagged from them and it's available on their website now along with so many other cute items.   When I started the blog, there were many reasons running through my head pushing me to make the leap, but one of the main ones was to connect with the community I live in. I wasn't born and raised in Grand Rapids and I've only lived here for the last 7 years so my connection to the area isn't as strong as I'd like it to be. When I packed my bags from Chicago I knew two people in Grand Rapids, my husband (boyfriend at the time) and good friend that introduced me to my husband. That's it! It seemed harder as an adult to make friends and although I have a couple really good friends here, I wanted to connect with the Grand Rapids community that shared the same passion for helping others - whether it be through style, home decor, or anything else that might make others feel a little bit better about themselves or their lives a little easier.   When I tell people I live in Grand Rapids the first thing they comment on is the beauty of the city and the 2nd thing is the community. I've never lived in a city with as many local shops, writers, artists, bakeries, farms, family owned restaurants (and on and on and on) as Grand Rapids has. People put down roots here and never leave. We don't plan on leaving so I want to make sure my roots are planted deep. And now, 8 months later, the connections I've made, the people I've met, the opportunities I've had and my roots are planted deeper than I could have ever imagined. I'm so grateful for this journey and I'm so grateful for boutique owners like Meredith and Amy that see the need for that connection as well. Sure, there are gains to every connection and opportunity, but in the end we are putting together a group of entrepreneurs that are going to impact the community in a meaningful way.   When Meredith emailed me to talk about  a collaboration I was over the moon. Cloth + Cabin  is TAKING OFF and I'm so glad to be a part of it's journey. The online boutique launched early this year, around the same time as my blog, and their style is seriously on point. As you might guess, they offer a clothing AND home decor line. Their clothing line is to die for, and no joke, I wanted EVERYTHING from their home line! I tried to show to some restrain and only purchased these adorable buffalo check pillow covers   and this super comfy top  (think leather leggings and studded booties to add an edge) but I can't guarantee I'll stop there. I drove out to meet with Meredith on Tuesday and loved her from the very beginning. After we got to talking we had more in common than I could have imagined. We both graduated from Purdue, lived in Chicago for a couple years and took a leap to start a new journey. I was thrilled to meet her (and look through the amazing selection of clothes and accessories) and can't wait for the pop up shop! In today's Instagram post (@annieroseclothes) there is a $50 giveaway to use at the pop-up so be sure to head over and check it out. The specific directions to enter are in the caption. Click on the image below to head over to the Cloth + Cabin Fall Pop Up event to RSVP and see further details! I hope to see you there!
