Hi.

Welcome to Annie Rose Clothes, where I share a look into my personal style and hope to inspire others to express themselves through style.

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend!   We went down to Purdue to watch the Purdue vs. Michigan football game. When I say it was hotter than Hades I'm literally not kidding. The heat index was 99 degrees! We brought a pool, water guns, mister fans and about 15 bags of ice to keep the kiddos comfortable but as soon as we walked away from the tailgate and all of our water amenities, the kids faded fast. The boys went to the game and the moms and kids decided to leave early and head home. Probably not one of our brightest ideas but it's hard for us to say no to family and tailgating! This adorable look is one of my favorites on the blog to date! When I saw this sequined skirt I knew I had to have it and at just $81 it's hard to pass up~ It's so fun and festive and just screams holiday family pictures! I sized down one size (to a 2) based on reviews and it fit perfect. A little styling tip for you if you do snag this skirt - roll the waistband once. You can't even tell and it makes the length a little more flattering. I paired it with this cozy chunky knit that I snagged during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and unfortunately it's since sold out. I looked for it high and low to no avail so I linked some other options that would create the same look!   These boots are one of my favorite pairs for fall and winter. I just love the color and the comfortable 3 inch block heel makes them feet friendly as well! I sized down a half size in them (I'm normally a 10 in boots and I sized down to a 9.5).
